Welcome to eBookWritingLab. By accessing, engaging with, or purchasing any of our services, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of our services and outline your rights, responsibilities, and obligations as our valued client. Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Services

eBookWritingLab offers a full range of book-related services including but not limited to:

  • Ghostwriting
  • Editing and proofreading
  • Book publishing
  • Book cover design
  • Illustrations and layout design
  • Printing
  • Audiobook and videobook production
  • Book marketing and promotion
  • Global distribution

All services are delivered on a project-by-project basis, customized according to the client’s needs, and subject to the scope and timeline agreed upon before project initiation.

2. Project Initiation & Communication

Projects will begin only after:

  • Agreement on scope, timeline, and deliverables
  • A signed service agreement or project confirmation
  • Initial payment (as outlined in Section 4)
  • Regular communication will be maintained via email, phone, or designated project management platforms. Clients are responsible for providing timely feedback, approvals, and content/materials as required.

3. Intellectual Property

All content created by eBookWritingLab (including written, visual, audio, and digital materials) remains the intellectual property of eBookWritingLab until full payment is received.

Upon full payment, rights to completed deliverables will be transferred to the client. eBookWritingLab retains the right to use non-confidential excerpts for portfolio, promotional, or educational purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

4. Payment Terms

Payment must be made according to the pricing and schedule agreed at the time of project confirmation.

Standard Payment Terms:

  • A minimum of 50% upfront is required to initiate any project.
  • The remaining 50% balance must be paid before final files are delivered or publishing is completed.
  • Discounted Packages:
  • For projects offered at discounted rates or under promotional offers:
  • A minimum of 60% payment is required upfront.
  • Alternatively, clients may opt to pay the full discounted amount in advance.
  • Failure to comply with payment terms may result in a delay or halt of the project.

5. Revisions Policy

We offer up to two free rounds of revisions depending on the nature of the service (e.g., ghostwriting, design, editing). Additional revisions beyond the scope of the original agreement may incur additional charges.

All revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery of the initial draft or design.

6. Refund Policy

We strive for client satisfaction in every project. However, due to the nature of custom creative services, refunds are not automatically guaranteed. Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:

Refund requests must be made in writing with clear reasoning.

Refunds will be initiated only after mutual discussion and review of the project status.

If any work has already been delivered (e.g., drafts, designs, recordings), partial refunds may be considered based on the proportion of work completed.

For discounted packages, refunds will not be processed unless at least 60% of the total agreed payment has been received.

Non-refundable costs include administrative fees, third-party platform charges, and hours already worked.

We reserve the right to decline a refund if the work aligns with the agreed scope and quality benchmarks.

7. Deadlines and Delays

We commit to timely delivery as per the project timeline. However, the timeline may be affected by:

Delayed feedback or approvals from the client

Scope changes or additional requests mid-project

Force majeure events (natural disasters, technical failures, etc.)

We will always communicate any changes in timeline transparently.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information necessary for the project

Review drafts and materials in a timely manner

Make payments as per the agreed terms

Respect the creative process and timeline

Failure to cooperate may impact delivery dates and project outcomes.

9. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the project in writing if there is a breach of agreement. If the client initiates termination after project commencement:

All completed work to that point will be invoiced

Any outstanding balance must be settled

Any refundable amount will be determined based on work completed and mutual agreement

10. Confidentiality

All client information and project content will be treated as confidential. We do not share, disclose, or reuse your content without consent, except where required by law.

11 Modifications to Terms

eBookWritingLab reserves the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance of the updated terms
